London College of Fashion Presents Its Largest Graduate Showcase

LONDON — Ahead of the summer holidays, hundreds of London College of Fashion students paraded styles ranging from the deconstructed and apocalyptic to the folkloric in the school’s largest graduate showcase yet.

Some 431 students from BA and Diploma courses presented their designs in a show space next to LCF’s new East London campus, which will open in 2022. The new site, East Bank, will join the college’s six locations under one roof.

LONDON — “Logomania — it is such a thing these days. So I kind of went for it,” said designer Matty Bovan, casting his eyes around the quaint London bookshop where his new ‘zine, Beautiful Teddy, launched on Thursday night.

Self-edited, self-published and brimming with references to his naïf, four-legged cat/pig logo, the ‘zine comes in a limited print run of 100 copies and is available at Donlon Books in Hackney, East London.

Lenny Kravitz Photo Show Draws Royals, Music Stars to Primrose Hill

LONDON — “He has such a kind soul, and he really has captured the perfect party. He has got the best people in it! You want to be there,” said Eva Herzigova of her pal Lenny Kravitz, who is making his debut as creative director of Dom Pérignon with a photography exhibition that landed in London’s Primrose Hill on Wednesday night.

Herzigova was right: Usually, London starts to empty out this time of year, but the guest list proved there are still die-hard partiers around who were happy to show up.
